Angela Calisti is a celebrity hairstylist, salon owner, and beauty entrepreneur known for her expertise in balayage, dry cutting, and extensions. In 2015, she founded Beauty Social Salon in Astoria, Queens, building a boutique, community-driven brand rooted in confidence, transformation, and elevated beauty. With over 20 years in the industry, Angela has styled high-profile clients including Jenna Ortega, Sophia Richie, Olivia Culpo, Amanda Steele, Francia Raisa, Lori Harvey, and Olivia Palermo. Her work spans television, film, red carpets, and major fashion and advertising campaigns.

A native New Yorker, Angela trained alongside top New York City stylists John Barrett and Oscar Blandi. In 2012, she booked her first television role as a hairstylist on E!’s Married to Jonas, launching a career that included campaigns such as Bethenny Frankel’s Skinnygirl and Madonna and Lourdes Leon’s Material Girl, as well as work during New York, Milan, and Paris Fashion Weeks. She also toured with musicians Fifth Harmony and Kate Pierson. From 2021 to 2024, Angela traveled internationally as Bella Thorne’s personal hairstylist, working across films, press tours, and global film festivals.

Today, Angela is based full-time at Beauty Social Salon, where she focuses on serving clients and mentoring the next generation of cosmetologists through hands-on education and partnerships with her former high school, Queens Technical High School. After years of touring, she returned with a renewed focus on rebuilding and scaling her brand. In 2024, Angela completed the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program, strengthening her operations and long-term growth strategy as she expands her impact through mentorship, education, and community partnerships-empowering future beauty professionals to build sustainable, successful careers.
